NBC's Willie Geist will serve as host for the United States Olympic Committee's inaugural Best of U.S. Awards Show supported by USG, which will honor outstanding U.S. performances from the Sochi 2014 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games and air tonight, April 7 on NBCSN from 7-8 p.m. ET. In addition, figure skaters and commentators Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski will host red carpet coverage, as more than 200 members of Team USA arrive at the Warner Theatre for the live taping on April 2. NBC's primetime coverage tomorrow, Saturday, February 8, features the ladies' and ice dance teams short programs on the second day of the inaugural team figure skating competition. 2010 Olympic silver medalists and reigning World ice dance champions Meryl Davis and Charlie White anchor a strong American team for the short program. In women's moguls, 2010 Olympic gold medalist Hannah Kearney returns to the Olympics in hopes of becoming the first freestyle skier to win two gold medals. Also making its Olympic debut is men's snowboard slopestyle, featuring a trio of high-flying Canadians, including 20-year-old phenom Mark McMorris, who looks to recover from a disappointing first day of qualifying.

NBCUniversal will present more than 1,539 hours of coverage of the XXII Olympic Winter Games from Sochi, Russia, across NBC, NBCSN, CNBC, MSNBC, USA Network and NBCOlympics.com. The 1,539+ hours are the most ever for a Winter Olympics and more than the coverage of the previous two Winter Olympics combined.
