Using the actress' own words, The Passion of the Crawford is a fantasia on the persona of this 20th Century cultural icon. Primary Stages Extends BLACK TIE

By popular demand, Primary Stages (Casey Childs, Founder & Executive Producer; Andrew Leynse, Artistic Director; Elliot Fox, Managing Director), has announced a one-week extension for the final production of the 2010-2011 season: the World Premiere of the new comedy, Black Tie by A.R. Gurney. Originally scheduled to end its limited run on Sunday, March 20th, Black Tie will now play through Sunday afternoon, March 27th at 3:00p.m.

These unique one-night events (hosted by Playwrights Project Program Producer and Manager Chelsea Whitmore and Playwrights Project Executive Director Cecelia Kouma and featuring distinguished guests and playwrights) will follow Wednesday night performances of Cygnet's first World Premiere - Stephen Metcalfe's THE TRAGEDY OF THE COMMONS. BEYOND THE PAGE discussion forums are FREE to audience members attending the Wednesday, February 2nd, 9th and 16th performances of THE TRAGEDY OF THE COMMONS at Cygnet Theatre in Old Town San Diego State Historic Park.
The 19th Annual Hamptons International Film Festival Announces 2011 Dates

The Hamptons International Film Festival (HIFF) proudly announces this year's festival dates, Thursday, October 13 - Monday, October 17, 2011. The festival, which is usually held over Columbus Day Weekend, is launching one week later in 2011 in order to honor Yom Kippur, which falls during Columbus Day Weekend this year. HIFF plans to return to its regular Columbus Day Weekend dates in 2012 (October 4 - 8, 2012) to celebrate its 20th Anniversary.
