ABC continues its commitment to distinctive storytelling with the announcement of its 2016-17 slate of programming, including the addition of nine new series. Starring in the event limited series are Guy Pearce ('Memento,' 'L.A. Confidential') as LGBT activist Cleve Jones, Mary-Louise Parker ('Weeds,' 'Angels in America') as women's rights leader Roma Guy and Rachel Griffiths ('Brothers and Sisters,' 'Six Feet Under') as her wife, social justice activist Diane. The roles of African American community organizer Ken Jones and transgender activist Cecelia Chung are still to be cast, among others.

This world premiere production will integrate expressionistic audio, visual and movement interludes with the haunting literary text. Sue Mach's adaptation, conceived by Grace Carter and directed by Philip Cuomo, features Carter, Chris Harder and Christy Bigelow. The production runs tonight, January 13 - February 6, 2016.
