Performances by country music star Wynonna, jazz artist Branford Marsalis, Aussie guitarist Tommy Emmanuel, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Mavis Staples, comic jugglers the Flying Karamazov Brothers, and the dazzling Complexions Contemporary Ballet are just a few of the exciting offerings at Pepperdine University Center for the Arts during its 2013-2014 season.

The Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza celebrates its 19th season with over 250 performances slated to perform in the Plaza's two theatres: The Fred Kavli Theatre for the Performing Arts and the Janet and Ray Scherr Forum Theatre.

Over 120 performances will be held on stage between July 2013 and June 2014. Highlights include a diverse theatre series featuring Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, Tony-nominated BRING IT ON, Tony-Winning MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, ROCK OF AGES and Green Day's AMERICAN IDIOT; contemporary performers such as Michael Bolton, Kenny Loggins, Michael W. Smith and Clint Black; classical artists including Sarah Chang and Itzhak Perlman, comedians including Drew Carey, Joan Rivers, Jason Alexander and Jim Belushi, and many more (see schedule below).

The Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts has announced a new summer lineup of shows.

Ol' Blue Eyes is celebrated in style during this summer season of top-notch entertainment at the Spencer Theater, as are dancing pirates, Chinese acrobats, Swedish icons, three-part harmony greats. Rock & roll and country legends, New Mexico beauties, a classical star, child actors and world fusion musicians in the 16 event line-up at the award-winning Alto, New Mexico performance hall. Additionally, pre-performance lobby buffets are offered ($20) before most every show, allowing patrons to easily enjoy a hot meal before curtain time.

World Renowned GOLDEN DRAGON ACROBATS will come to The State Theatre today, March 10 at 1 and 4:30 p.m. This performance was rescheduled from November 4, 2012 due to Hurricane Sandy. Original tickets for the Nov 4 date and corresponding time will be honored.

The Golden Dragon Acrobats hail from Cangzhou, Hebei province, in the People's Republic of China and have toured the United States continuously since 1978. Its members are athletes, actors and artists who have studied and trained for their craft since early childhood. The group averages 200 performances each year and has toured through all 50 states and in over 65 countries across the world. In 2005, their Broadway debut and seven-week run at the New Victory Theater earned two prestigious New York Drama Desk Awards nominations (for Best Choreography and Most Unique Theatrical Experience).

Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts announced today 34 additions to its 2013 summer schedule at the Filene Center at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts. In a wide-ranging season that features opera, theatre, comedy, dance, symphony, international and contemporary music, Wolf Trap continues to strengthen its commitment to the presentation of high quality, accessible and affordable arts experiences for the broadest possible audience. Tickets to the newly announced shows go on sale Saturday, March 16 at 10 am, with more performances to be announced later this spring.

Pace Presents has announced the arrival of the Golden Dragon Acrobats, the premiere Chinese acrobatic touring company in the United States, to the Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts for a two performance engagement on Saturday, March 2 at 3pm and 7:30pm.
