Local singer Mara Getz will perform her latest one woman show A TRIBUTE TO MS. PEGGY LEE at The Arthur Newman Theatre at The Joslyn Center in Palm Desert today, October 28, 2012 at 2 pm.

Today, we're featuring Milton Berle and George Burns in 1982. Berle's Broadway credits include See My Lawyer, Ziegfeld Follies of 1943, I'll Take the High Road, Seventeen, The Goodbye People and more. Burns starred on Broadway in Say Goodnight Gracie and When Johnny Comes Marching Home.

According to published reports, famed producer and director, Manny Fox, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, due to complications deriving from a heart condition. He was 77 years old, currently residing in Pheonix, Arizona, and leaves behind four sons and three grandchildren.

Comic actor/singer Roger Bart won a Tony for playing Snoopy in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown and a SAG Award for portraying George Williams on TV's Desperate Housewives. His versatility has also led to voice over work singing as Hercules in the Disney film of the same name. Bart will reprise his Tony nominated role of Carmen Ghia in The Producers at the Hollywood Bowl today, July 27-July 29.
