Poodle skirts and leather jackets are the height of style as Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre 2012 Summer Festival presents The Yardley Players in the rock n' roll musical, "Bye Bye Birdie." Performances are Fridays, tonight, July 13 and July 20 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, July 14 and 21 at 8 p.m.; and Sundays, July 15 and 22 at 2 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on the college's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. A reception with the cast and crew follows the opening night performance tonight, July 13.

Inspired by the electrifying true story, the national tour of the Broadway musical MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET will make its Toronto premiere on Thursday, July 12 at Toronto Centre for the Arts.

ALL SHOOK UP will turn the SCERA Shell Outdoor Theatre into a joyous whirlwind of song and dance when it plays July 6-21 @ 8pm on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The Shell is located at 699 South State in the middle of SCERA Park, Orem.

Piñataland, Curtis Eller, and The Moonlighters featuring Bliss Blood are set to play a triple-bill night at The Living Room on July 29. The Moonlighters will open the show at 8PM, with Curtis Eller playing at 9, and Piñataland at 10.

Million Dollar Quartet, about to enter its fifth year in Chicago, continues performances through January 6, 2013 with cast members Brandon Bennett (Elvis Presley), Shaun Whitley (Carl Perkins), Lance Lipinsky (Jerry Lee Lewis), Sean Sullivan (Johnny Cash), Tim Decker (Sam Phillips), Johanna McKenzie Miller (Dyanne), Brad Ber (Jay Perkins/Bass player) andDan Leali (Fluke/Drummer). Veteran Broadway performer Deanna L. Dys will direct and choreograph the upcoming production of the family-friendly musical Bye Bye Birdie on June 29 and 30 at 7:30 p.m.
