Author and Philanthropist Jean Shafiroff and Martin Shafiroff hosted a reception on the Upper East Side on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 to celebrate New York City Mission Society's annual Champions for Children Gala, which raises funds to support youth and families in our city's most underserved communities to break the cycle of poverty and achieve success.

The worlds of art, fashion, design, theater and media came together for “Reflections: Art & Beauty” a one-night- only exhibition of significant contemporary art works to benefit Robert Wilson's internationally acclaimed arts incubator The Watermill Center. Hosted by Sherle Wagner International, the premier source, world-wide, for luxury bath hardware, and bath accessories and the recently launched Fairweather Magazine dedicated to following La Dolce Vita world-wide, the Vernissage drew over 400 guests to the gorgeous showroom. A magnificent sculpture in painted and chromed steel, “Rev. E. Piscapalian Study” by the renowned John Chamberlain towered over attendees as they arrived and were greeted by Evan Geoffroy, CEO, Sherle Wagner, Alexandra Fairweather and Eric Goodman, co-founders Fairweather Magazine and Pinki Patel of The Watermill Center.

The New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NYSPCC), the world's first child protection agency, held its annual fall benefit on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at The Metropolitan Club in Manhattan. This year, The NYSPCC's benefit was their Inaugural Wine Dinner. The 215 guests, dressed in festive attire, enjoyed an extraordinary menu designed by renowned chef, Jonathan Waxman, of Barbuto, and featured excellent wines from the Napa Valley winery, Tournesol. The cocktail hour kicked off the evening with wine tasting tables sponsored by Bespoke, Far Niente, Millbrook Vineyards and Winery, OneHope and Premier Cru Wine Merchants. Artlog, the pre-eminent site devoted to sharing and discussing visual culture in its many forms, hosted its annual kickoff party for Art Miami, the premiere international modern and contemporary art fair and anchor fair for the City of Miami at Kyle DeWoody and Manish Vora's SoHo gallery, Grey Area on Thursday November 15. The evening also celebrated the launch of Art Miami's new sister art fair CONTEXT Art Miami, devoted to showcasing emerging and mid-career cutting edge artists.
