Due to overwhelming audience response and sold-out shows, Theatre NOVA, Ann Arbor's resident professional theatre with an exclusive focus on new plays and playwrights, is thrilled to announce an extension of its smash hit 'Mazel Tov, John Lennon' by David Wells. The world premiere was slated to run through April 14 but has been extended through Sunday, April 21 due to full houses, glowing audience response, and critical acclaim.

Netflix Names Spencer Neumann Chief Financial Officer

Netflix Inc. announced today that Spencer Neumann is joining the company as Chief Financial Officer. Neumann is an accomplished media and financial executive who was most recently CFO of Activision Blizzard and previously held several senior positions at the The Walt Disney Company. He succeeds David Wells who served as CFO since 2010.

After the success of Theatre NOVA's inaugural Michigan Playwrights Festival three years ago, the theatre is continuing its semi-annual tradition and announcing a call for submissions for this season's two festivals of new plays by Michigan playwrights. The Spring festival will run March 5-10, 2019. The deadline for submissions is November 1, 2018.

Wells, who joined Netflix in 2004 and has served as CFO since 2010, intends to stay until his successor takes the role to ensure a smooth transition.
