Tony Award Winner for Best Musical in 2010, the national touring company of Memphis makes its way to Nashville's Tennessee Performing Arts Center for a limited November 15-20 run at Andrew Jackson Hall, fresh off its kick-off in the city that gave the show its name. Memphis' national tour was launched at the Orpheum Theatre in Memphis.

Suervision Media and Broadway Worldwide have plans to bring a handful of Broadway favorites to the big screen in the near future- Memphis, Jekyll & Hyde, Putting It Together, and Smokey Joe's Cafe will all make there way to theatres around the world. Memphis will reach the UK and Ireland in November, and South Africa and Hong Kong later this year. The other three shows will reach Europe January- March 2012, and then the rest of the world in April.

The 2010 Tony winning Best Musical MEMPHIS welcomed nationally syndicated radio star Mike Gallagher to the Shubert Theatre for a special one week only cameo appearance last night, September 6. Gallagher will perform through Sunday September 11, 2011. In MEMPHIS, Mike Gallagher will open the show with an expanded cameo part written by book writer Joe DiPietro. Adam Pascal to Replace Chad Kimball in MEMPHIS as 'Huey' Oct. 25

Hockadoo! The 2010 Tony winning Best Musical MEMPHIS announced today that Broadway veteran Adam Pascal will join the cast of MEMPHIS as 'Huey Calhoun.' Pascal will begin performances on Tuesday, October 25th. Chad Kimball will play his final performance on Sunday, October 23rd. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Kimball recently suffered nerve damage in his neck as a result of performing the demading role he created on Broadway nearly two years ago and has had to miss several performances of late.
