THE HEIRESS' Jessica Chastain announced on her Facebook page on Thursday that she will not be performing on Broadway on January 10th, 13th and 27th to support her film Zero Dark Thirty at the Critic's Choice, Golden Globes and SAG Awards. Her understudy Mairin Lee will be playing the role of 'Catherine' on those dates.

While Season 3 and a special Christmas episode have not yet aired in the U.S., news of the fate of Steven's character, Matthew Crawley has quickly reached the other side of the Atlantic.In a recently released statement, the British network defended its decision to write off Stevens' character in the manner that they did.

In this morning's New York Times Arts Beat, actor Dan Stevens commented on the recent news that he will not return in his role of Matthew Crawley in the fourth season of DOWNTON ABBEY. A special Christmas episode of the popular period drama aired last night on the U.K.'s ITV network which explained the sudden exit of Stevens' character.

Deadline reports that DOWNTON ABBEY star Dan Stevens will not be returning for the fourth season of the popular British drama series.

As reported by Variety, star of 'Downton Abbey' and Broadway's The Heiress, Dan Stevens is in talks to join DreamWorks' untitled Wikileaks movie, starring Benedict Cumberbatch and directed by Bill Condon.
