Tony-Nominated Director Randal Myler and multi-talented Music Director Dan Wheetman return to Lone Tree Arts Center (LTAC) to create a new vision for Big River: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn after setting the bar high with Hank Williams: Lost Highway last spring and John Denver Holiday Concert in 2012. Returning to the roots of Mark Twain's classic American folktale, this production of Big River focuses on the talent and voices of the cast as they each become storytellers.

Geva Theatre Center' 41st Mainstage Season concludes with Neil Simon's The Odd Couple. Directed by John Miller-Stephany, and with a cast led by Tony Award- winner Michael McGrath and Broadway veteran Noah Racey, this classic comedy begins performances tonight, April 22 and runs in the Elaine P. Sony Pictures Entertainment has closed a deal with Chloe Grace Moretz to star in the film adaptation of the bestselling novel The 5th Wave, it was announced today by Doug Belgrad, president of Columbia Pictures and Hannah Minghella, president of Production for the studio. An original approach to an alien invasion movie, the film will be directed by J Blakeson, with a screenplay by Susannah Grant, based on the book by Rick Yancey. Graham King will produce through GK Films along with Tobey Maguire and Matthew Plouffe through his Material Pictures.

Musical Theatre West just announced yesterday that for its 2014-15 season of shows, they will be presenting the first production of the Broadway musical BIG FISH since its New York debut. The California show will also feature the original Broadway sets and costumes. BIG FISH will run October 31 - November 16, 2014. Based on the film by Tim Burton, the musical features music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa and book by John August.
