The postmodern version of the classic, elegant New York night club of the 1950's show will be brought to life in the only New York City night club left that still truly captures that ambiance.

Paper Mill Playhouse will open its 2014-2015 season with a Broadway-bound, world-class revival of Can-Can starring Kate Baldwin as Pistache and Jason Danieley as Aristide. Can-Can will play the Millburn, New Jersey, theater from tonight, October 1 through October 26, 2014. The official press opening night is Sunday, October 5, at 7:00pm.

The Old Globe will celebrate its 80th Anniversary as part of the Balboa Park Centennial Celebration with a 2015 Summer Season featuring Shakespeare onstage and in film. 2014 Tony Award winner for A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder and former Old Globe Shakespeare Festival Artistic Director Darko Tresnjak returns to direct the spectacular musical classic Kiss Me, Kate, with music and lyrics by Cole Porter, book by Sam and Bella Spewack, and choreography by Peggy Hickey, in association with Hartford Stage.

The Bijou Theatre presents 'Vegas Lounge' for the second year in a row after a sold out show last year. 'Vegas Lounge' includes the vocal talent of Steve D'Agostino singing the songs from the Great American Songbook, along with the comedic tales of local comedian, Kevin Dolan. 'Vegas Lounge' is one performance only on Saturday, October 11th, at 8:00pm. Tickets are $30 for theatre seating, and $35 for table/high top seating.

Playwright A. R. ("Pete") Gurney, one of the most-produced playwrights in the history of Westport Country Playhouse, was celebrated for his body of work at the theater's one-night-only fundraising gala, "A Perfect Party: A Gala Evening Honoring A. All aboard at Towne Centre Theatre for Cole Porter's It's Anything Goes, jam packed with spectacular dance numbers and fabulous music. Romance is in the air but it's far from smooth sailing for those onboard the S.S. American ocean liner. The musical comedy follows the story of stowaway Billy Crocker pursuing his love, Hope, who is engaged to another man. With the help of nightclub singer Reno Sweeney and Public Enemy No. 13, Moonface Martin, they join forces in Billy's quest to win Hope's heart.

Four of the best singers in the West End are joining forces for one night only in Stars of the West End... a night celebrating the greatest musicals of all time.

Paper Mill Playhouse will open its 2014-2015 season with a Broadway-bound, world-class revival of Can-Can starring Kate Baldwin as Pistache and Jason Danieley as Aristide. This fresh new production features direction by David Lee (Frasier, Cheers) and choreography by Patti Colombo (Paper Mill's Peter Pan, On the Town, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers). The show features a book by Abe Burrows (Guys and Dolls, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying) and a re-crafted script by Joel Fields (Ugly Betty, The Americans) and David Lee. Can-Can's score features some of Cole Porter's timeless classics including 'I Love Paris,' 'C'est Magnifique,' 'It's All Right With Me' and more. Paper Mill Playhouse is launching this Broadway-bound production of Cole Porter's classic musical with producing partner Jonathan Burrows. Can-Can will play the Millburn, New Jersey, theater from October 1 through October 26, 2014.
