On Tuesday, November 11th, Macy's and Marc Ecko presented the 2008 Emery Awards at Cipriani 42nd St. This year's awards honored those who have worked to support LGBT youth, and featured a special performance by Cheyenne Jackson, star of Broadway's XANADU, ALL SHOOK UP and AIDA.

Ben Affleck and Christine Quinn were honored by PFLAG NYC for contributions to LGBT Equality at the 27th Annual PFLAG NYC Awards Dinner on Monday, October 8 at the Tribeca Rooftop. Merrill Lynch, ABC News '20/20' and NYPD LGBT Liaison Unit also received awards. The Gala Dinner was hosted by Christopher Sieber, film, television and stage actor and Kathryn Erbe, actress in NBC's 'Law & Order: Criminal Intent.'
Hooray for Hollywood Honors Neal, Penney and de Lesseps

Scores of the brightest lights on stage and screen will turn out in red carpet finery for a celebration of classic Hollywood, Hooray for Hollywood honoring the legendary Oscar winner Patricia Neal, Smith Barney's Shirl Penney and The Count and Countess de Lesseps, Stage 6 at Steiner Film Studios, 15 Washington Avenue at the historic Brooklyn Navy Yard. The gala evening is slated for November 1, with all proceeds going to The Auditory Oral School of New York, a non profit organization which specializes in teaching deaf and hard of hearing children to listen, talk, think and socialize.
