Bram Stoker's Dracula has been a mainstay at Actors Theatre of Louisville (ATL) since 1995, and has become identified with actor/director William McNulty, who eight years ago was invited to forge his own adaptation of the horror classic. The result only intensified audience demand and acceptance, and the play now stands as the second holiday perennial (with A Christmas Carol) for Louisville's highly acclaimed regional theatre. Today in 2008, A Tale of Two Cities opened at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre, where it ran for 60 performances. A Tale of Two Cities is a musical with book, music and lyrics by Jill Santoriello based on the novel of the same name by Charles Dickens.The Broadway production featured James Barbour, Natalie Toro, Aaron Lazar, Gregg Edelman, and Brandi Burkhardt.

Annapurna, by Sharr White, features cowboy poet Ulysses, working to finish his last epic poem, when his estranged wife appears unexpectedly with shocking news. In the New Year, see Alaskan playwright Vera Starbard's stunning new play Our Voices Will Be Heard, a powerful Tlingit mother-daughter journey with a fierce call for healing. In the Next Room, or the vibrator play is a hysterical and intimate comedy about new technology changing relationships. Highlighting the season is Sondheim's darkly brilliant musical about an innocent man, whose wrongful imprisonment sets him on a path to set things right when he meets the murderous Mrs. Lovett and her meat pie shop. Playing in Anchorage only, the holiday favorite Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol returns in a specially adapted version from Dickens' book and monologues. All six of these spectacular plays will be brought to the stage with Perseverance's signature mix of the best actors in Alaska and selected visiting artists. A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed classical repertory theatre company, presents Arthur Miller's classic All My Sons, as part of the 2015-2016 BREAKING AND ENTERING season, directed by Geoff Elliott, beginning October 11 and playing through November 21, 2015 (opens on October 17). Miller was born on October 17, 1915 (this production opens on the actual day and date of the centennial of Miller's birth).
