Beginning at 5 p.m. tonight, three hours before the main GRAMMY Awards show, the pre-telecast Ceremony will announce awards in 70 additional categories, including musical theater. It will be hosted by David Alan Grier, who is nominated for a Grammy for his performance in The Gershwin's PORGY AND BESS on Broadway.

GRAMMY Charity Online Auctions — in celebration of the 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards, this auction offers over 100 exclusive items including once-in-a-lifetime VIP experiences, memorabilia from world-renowned celebrities and official GRAMMY merchandise signed by participating stars backstage during rehearsals and day of the telecast. The lots are available for bid in two cycles now through Feb. 21 at www.ebay.com/grammy, presented in partnership with Kompolt. All proceeds will benefit MusiCares and the GRAMMY Foundation.

Two contestants who struggled through the group rounds were up next. First was Papa Peachez who sang Lady Gaga's You and I. And then Jimmy Smith sand Landslide by the Dixie Chicks.

Current nominees Dr. John and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band have been added to join a performance by the Black Keys, in addition to three-time GRAMMY Award winner Stanley Clarke, current nominee Chick Corea and current nominee Kenny Garrett paying tribute to Dave Brubeck, a performance by current nominee Juanes and a joint performance by Travis Barker, Chuck D, two-time GRAMMY Award winner and host LL COOL J, two-time GRAMMY Award winner Tom Morello and DJ Z-Trip, all on THE 55TH ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS broadcast. The music industry's premier event will take place Sunday, Feb. 10 (8:00-11:30 PM, live ET/delayed PT), at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, on the CBS Television Network.

According to the Wall Street Journal, original Maria, Julie Andrews fully supports the remake of the classic film.

Nominees Zac Brown, Brittany Howard (Alabama Shakes), and Mumford & Sons, along with five-time GRAMMY winner, GRAMMY Legend Award recipient, and 2000 MusiCares Person of the Year honoree Elton John and GRAMMY winner and Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient (as a member of the Staples Singers) Mavis Staples will join together for a special tribute to the late Levon Helm as part of the annual In Memoriam segment on the 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards telecast. Current nominee T Bone Burnett will serve as musical director for this special tribute to Helm. Additionally, current nominees Miguel and Wiz Khalifa also are set to perform on Music's Biggest Night. Thirteen-time GRAMMY winner Dave Grohl, three-time GRAMMY winner and current nominee Ne-Yo, and TV and radio host/producer (and newly appointed Honorary Chair of the GRAMMY Foundation Board) Ryan Seacrest will appear as presenters.
