On the heels of the recent premiere of the second half of season nine of its hit comedy series SHAMELESS, SHOWTIME has announced its most-watched show has been renewed for a 10th season. The renewal will make SHAMELESS the longest running series ever on SHOWTIME. Season 10 will mark the return of television's favorite dysfunctional family The Gallaghers that will include series stars Oscar® nominee and Emmy® and SAG Award winner William H. Macy, Jeremy Allen White, Ethan Cutkosky, Emma Kenney, Christian Isaiah and Cameron Monaghan. Production on season 10 will begin in 2019. The announcement was made today by Gary Levine, President of Entertainment, Showtime Networks Inc., at the Television Critics Association's Winter Press Tour.

Fox has shared the trailer for the final season of GOTHAM, which premieres Thursday, January 3 at 8/7c on FOX.

SHOWTIME has announced that the ninth season of its hit comedy series SHAMELESS will expand to a 14-episode order, and will air in two parts – this fall and in winter 2019. The first seven episodes will begin airing on Sunday, September 9 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, with a midseason finale on Sunday, October 21 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. MarVista Entertainment and Parkside Pictures announced today the acquisition of actor/director Lea Thompson's debut feature  THE YEAR OF SPECTACULAR MEN, which  bowed at the 2017 Los Angeles Film Festival. Thompson directed from a script by daughter Madelyn Deutch and plays a supporting role opposite both Deutch and her other daughter Zoey Deutch (BEFORE I FALL, WHY HIM?). Zoey Deutch and Thompson's husband Howard Deutch (PRETTY IN PINK) served as the film's producers, alongside Gordon Gilbertson and Parkside's Dan Roth and Damiano Tucci. MarVista, which recently produced Marianna Palka's 2017 Sundance entrant BITCH, has set a mid-June 2018 theatrical release date.

SHAMELESS actor William H. Macy was honored with his third win at the 24th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards presented by SAG-AFTRA for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as Frank Gallagher.

On the heels of Sunday's eighth season premiere, which delivered 50 percent year-over-year growth, SHOWTIME has given a ninth season order to SHAMELESS. The announcement was made today by David Nevins, President and CEO, Showtime Networks Inc.

SHOWTIME will support the Movember Foundation in honor of the network's No. 1 comedy SHAMELESS, which returns for an eighth season on Sunday, November 5 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

SHOWTIME has released the poster art for its No. 1 comedy SHAMELESS and its new half-hour comedy SMILF, starring Frankie Shaw (Mr. Robot) and based on her Sundance Film Festival Jury Award-winning short film of the same name. SHOWTIME also debuted the trailer for SHAMELESS, which will premiere its eighth season on Sunday, November 5 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
