Legendary country music group Alabama has been tapped to receive the Greatest Hits Award at the AMERICAN COUNTRY AWARDS, airing live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Monday, Dec. 5 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX. The veteran band, which gave its farewell tour in 2003, also will perform during the broadcast. Additionally, AMERICAN IDOL winner Scotty McCreery has been added to the list of performers for the two-hour primetime special.

According to his official website, Broadway veteran Tony Vincent will appear on the second season of NBC's vocal competition- 'The Voice.' Vincent writes: 'I have auditioned for the hit television show The Voice, which airs on America's NBC network. It's been an amazing experience thus far and if you all want to see how I did at my audition, turn into the show's premiere episode-- airing right after the Superbowl on February 5th, 2012. It was a night of new victors and returning champions at 'The 45th Annual CMA Awards' Wednesday night in Nashville. Taylor Swift won her second CMA Entertainer of the Year trophy. Newlyweds Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton won Female Vocalist and Male Vocalist for the second consecutive year. Jason Aldean won his first two CMA Awards for Musical Event of the Year with Kelly Clarkson, and Album of the Year for My Kinda Party.

The lineup for 'The 45th Annual CMA Awards' continues to grow with today's announcement that Natasha Bedingfield and Grace Potter will make their debuts on 'Country Music's Biggest NightTM.' Bedingfield will team with Rascal Flatts to perform their current single, 'Easy,' while Potter will join fellow nominee and four-time CMA Entertainer of the Year Kenny Chesney on their hit song, 'You and Tequila.'
