On the heels of Segerstrom Center's inaugural Jazz Weekend this past October, Orange County audiences can look forward to two special concerts in May that will highlight the best of jazz, blues and R&B music. The first concert is May 7 at 7:30 p.m., and features venerated bluesman Charlie Musselwhite, Grammy®-nominated R&B vocalist Bettye LaVette and 'The Godfather of British Blues,' John Mayall. On May 8 at 3:00 p.m., Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Lisa Fischer, legendary Hammond B-3 organist Dr. Lonnie Smith and Grammy Award-winning vocalist and songwriter Gregory Porter will take to the stage. Both concerts take place in the Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall. KJAZZ's Bubba Jackson will serve as MC.

BroadwayWorld's cabaret editors and reviewers congratulate all the deserving nominees and everyone who performs in the great art of cabaret in New York. But today, as you munch on the leftovers from last night's dinner, it's time to actually vote for that one performer who you think is the absolute best in each category.
