Performances of this funny and furiously intelligent new play begin at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, NYC) on September 8, 2011 and continue through October 22, 2011. An official opening is set for September 27, 2011.

In The Other Place, just as Juliana Smithton's (Metcalf) research leads to a potential breakthrough in neurological medicine, her life takes a disorienting turn. During a lecture to colleagues at an exclusive beach resort, she glimpses an enigmatic young woman in a yellow bikini amidst the crowd of business suits. One step at a time, a mystery unravels as contradictory evidence, blurred truth and fragmented memories collide in a cottage on the windswept shores of Cape Cod.

Host Andy Cohen joined honorary chairs Hugh Dancy, Claire Daines, David Duchovny and Téa Leoni for MCC's annual MISCAST Gala. This one-night-only musical spectacular featured Broadway's hottest stars performing songs from roles in which they would never be cast.
