Queens Theatre (QT) is celebrating its 25th Anniverary with a Gala on June 2, 2014 at 6:00 pm at Queens Theatre (14 United Nations Avenue South, Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Queens, NY 11368). The gala will honor Euripides Pelekanos who is the co-founder and CEO of Queens favorite burger spot, Bareburger.

The first set of presenters have been announced for the 32nd Annual Fred & Adele Astaire Awards which will be held on Monday, June 2 at 7:30pm at NYU's Skirball Center for the Performing Arts. Set to present are Tony Award-winners Hal Prince & Bebe Neuwirth, Emmy Award-winner Valerie Harper, Scandal's Joe Morton, Dancing with the Stars' Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Sandy Duncan. Theatre and technology worlds will come together when TheatreWorks, the nationally acclaimed theatre of Silicon Valley, once again stages its annual TheatreWorks Honors gala June 21, this year paying tribute to Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award-winning Broadway composer Andrew Lippa (The Wild Party, The Addams Family, Big Fish) and Ray Rothrock, Partner Emeritus of pioneering venture capital firm Venrock, both of whom have dedicated their lives to bringing forth vision, innovation, and creativity to arts and business communities in Silicon Valley and around the nation. CBS announced its 2014-15 programming slate this morning. The League of Professional Theatre Women (LPTW) is pleased to celebrate women working in theatre with four special events in the month of May. The events include the oral history of Tony-winning actress Bebe Neuwirth on May 5th, a benefit performance of Forever written and performed by award-winner Dael Orlandersmith on May 6th at HERE, May 8th is the second annual advocacy march through Times Square, and May 12th is a networking event on Theatre and Other Careers.

Rubicon Theatre Company announces a Broadway Cabaret Benefit that will feature Broadway stars Krysta Rodriguez (First Date, The Addams Family and 'Smash') and Megan McGinnis (LES MISERABLES, Little Women and Beauty and the Beast). Taking place on May 12th at 7 pm in Montecito, CA, the night will consist of hors d'oeuvres, a hosted bar, a silent auction, and a specially designed program of various Broadway hits performed as an intimate concert.
