The Pittsburgh Dance Council will captivate Pittsburgh audiences on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. at the Byham Theater with an invigorating performance of award-winning repertoire by Ballet Boyz - Broken Fall, Propeller, EdOx, and Yumba vs. Nonino. Josefina Scaglione is starring as 'Maria' in the 2009 revival of West Side Story. The 21 year old Scaglione is a trained opera singer and has been in a production of Hairspray. She was set to portray Christine Daae in a production of The Phantom of the Opera in Argentina but had to give that lead up for her coveted casting in West Side Story.

Bryant Park Corporation announces the inaugural season of a series of early fall classical music concerts featuring musicians from the New York Philharmonic, New York City Opera, Orchestra of St. Luke's, the Metropolitan Opera Lindemann Young Artist Development Program, and The New York Pops.
