On March 31, EgoPo presents Anna, a World Premiere adaptation of Tolstoy's Anna Karenina. Playwright and Director Brenna Geffers brings literature's greatest heroine to new life with the help of a wandering theater troupe armed with a collection of rickety antiques and instruments. They perform the story, set in the shifting landscape of Imperial Russia, to seek refuge from their own unsettling world. You are invited on their journey, and Anna's, as they travel together toward the story's unavoidable end. Anna previews March 29-30 and opens Friday, March 31. The show runs three weeks, closing on Sunday, April 16. Tickets start at $25. Performances are at the Latvian Society Theater on 7th and Spring Garden.

It has just been announced that Tony Award-nominee Melissa Errico will join Michael Feinstein as a special guest at Zankel Hall on March 21 at 7:30pm at Carnegie Hall (881 Seventh Ave.) for 'Standard Time', featuring the music of Harry Warren. Melissa will sing music popularized by such artists as Doris Day, Judy Garland, Vera Lynn and Peggy Lee. The evening will also feature vocals from Jay Armstrong Johnson and instrumentalists Tedd Firth on Piano, Phil Palombi on Bass andMark McLean on Drums as they pay tribute to Harry Warren, the composer of such hits as "I Only Have Eyes for You," "42nd Street," "Chattanooga Choo Choo," and other unforgettable favorites.

The Watermill Theatre Announces Cast of TWELFTH NIGHT

Artistic and Executive Director, Paul Hart today announces the company for his new production of Twelfth Night continuing The Watermill Theatre's bold, ensemble driven approach to Shakespeare. Twelfth Night runs from 6 April to 6 May and in repertoire with Hart's 2016 production of Romeo + Juliet from 18 to 22 July. Both productions will tour nationally from Tuesday 16 May to Thursday 3 August

The brilliant theatricality of Kneehigh, the innovative United Kingdom-based theater company, will be on display at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts once again when 946: The Amazing Story of Adolphus Tips has its Los Angeles premiere.  Based on the beloved book by War Horse author Michael Morpurgo, 946 explores everything we thought we knew about the D-Day landings in this tender musical tale of love and war. Adapted by Morpurgo and Emma Rice, who also directs, 946 is a Kneehigh production presented in association with Birmingham Repertory and Berkeley Repertory Theatres. Aurora Theatre Company Extends Tom Stoppard's THE REAL THING

Due to popular pre-sale demand, Aurora Theatre Company announces that it will add an additional week of performances for THE REAL THING, Tom Stoppard's (The Coast of Utopia, Arcadia, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead) timeless comedy about an all-too-witty playwright who succumbs to the emotional ravages he puts his characters through. Timothy Near ("Master Harold"…and the boys) returns to Aurora to helm this Tony Award-winner for Best Play (1984) and Best Revival of a Play (2000), featuring Elijah Alexander, Liz Sklar, Carrie Paff (This Is How It Goes, A Delicate Balance, Collapse),Tommy Gorrebeeck (The Monster-Builder, The Eccentricities of a Nightingale), Seann Gallagher, and Emily Radosevich. THE REAL THING now plays through March 5th (added performances: Tuesday, February 28, 7pm; Wednesday, March 1, 8pm; Thursday, March 2, 8pm; Friday, March 3, 8pm; Saturday, March 4, 8pm; Sunday, March 5, 2pm, 7pm) at the Aurora Theatre in Berkeley. Washington Stage Guild Remembers Actress Tricia McCauley; Donate in Her Name!

In the winter of 1998, the Stage Guild mounted a striking production of ANNA KARENINA, with Tricia McCauley in the title role. Tricia became a member of the company, playing roles in 15 productions and many readings. Her creativity and wit were assets in any show, and over the years she designed props, worked box-office, and pitched in to get shows on their feet however was needed.
