According to Movie Line, GLEE star and Emmy nominated actor Jane Lynch will be hosting the October 9 edition of 'Saturday Night Live.'

GLEE creator and executive producer Ryan Murphy may be bringing his hit television musical comedy to the Great White Way, according to a report by The New York Times. As GLEE's success continues to grow, Murphy has continued to reach out and tackle new projects. His film adaptation of 'Eat Pray Love' with Julia Roberts hits theatres this month, and his name has recently been attached as a possible director for the upcoming WICKED film adaptation. Sony's co-chairwoman Amy Pascal is quoted as saying, 'I'll do anything Ryan wants.' There is no word on a possible timeline for a Broadway production of GLEE.

Approaching its October 10 (10-10-10) launch, the new children's and family network The Hub has announced acquisitions of popular series with appeal to the network's target audience of children and their families. Among the titles that will join the lineup: 'Doogie Howser, M.D.' and 'Wonder Years,' and the iconic series 'Transformers - Generation 1,' and 'G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero.'

GLEE's Ryan Murphy has confirmed that Jonathan Groff will return for the show's second season, People's TV Watch reports. Groff will appear in two episodes in the spring.

As for future GLEE-helmers, he says, 'I'm just now getting calls from big movie directors who love the show. I can't say who they are obviously. I have talked to Baz Luhrmann about it. I love him and he loves the show, but his schedule is so crazy.'

For the first time ever, Vanity Fair will include a special DVD insert of a network pilot in the magazine.
