Denise lives in NYC, and was born in the lovely state of Maine, where she acted (and acted) as Business Manager for the company of Good Theater. In New York; FROZEN with Essential Theatre and Cornice Productions, LACE CURTAIN IRISH as part of the Solo Voce Festival, PASSCHENDAELE with FringeNYC. On Maine stages she was seen in KING LEAR at Theater at Monmouth, SHOOTING STAR with Harbor Light Stage; with Good Theater in GOOD PEOPLE, THE LITTLE DOG LAUGHED, THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST, HAY FEVER, ...FORUM, ENCHANTED APRIL, RABBIT HOLE & RUTHLESS, THE MUSICAL! & with Madhorse in DEAD MAN'S CELL PHONE & with the Portland Stage in The Clauder Festival production of MAGNETIC NORTH. She’s traveled to Santa Fe for a modern adaptation of MEASURE FOR MEASURE; to Wisconsin for BLITHE SPIRIT with Madison Repertory. In Los Angeles - a musical adaptation of Aristophanes’ THE BIRDS, Jim Cartwright’s ROAD, MACBETH, & THE HOUSE OF BERNARDA ALBA at Theatre of NOTE, where she also served on the Artistic Board. She also worked with playwrights Murray Mednick, John O'Keefe's & John Steppling of Padua Hills Playwrights' Festival; BEDROOM FARCE at the Laguna Playhouse and on the self-produced US premiere of Mike Leigh's ABIGAIL'S PARTY. On TV she guest-starred on SEINFELD, MURPHY BROWN, FRASIER and 3RD ROCK FROM THE SUN. She was the voice of AEON FLUX in MTV’s animated series, and Merrick on HBO's SPAWN.
