College of Staten Island Nicola is an accomplished Singer, Songwriter, Guitarist, Pianist, Dancer and Actress. She is a graduate of the Fiorello High School of the Arts (?Fame? School) and an alumnus of both the Broadway and National Road Companies of Les Miserables where she spent 2 years performing in the chorus and as an understudy for Madame Thenardier from 1993 - 1995. Prior to that, some of her past notable theatre credits include: ?Morales? in a A Chorus Line (Tennessee Repertory Theater), The Beggar Woman in Sweeney Todd (Pioneer Theater Company), and assorted principal characters in the well-known revue, Side-by-Side-by-Sondheim (Golden Apple Dinner Theater). Leaving the theater to embark on a music career, Nicola started her own record label ?Hot Cherry Records? in 2002. Over the past few years and 5 independently released CDs, having sold over 50,000 units independently, and charted on over 200 national radio stations, Nicola with her hybrid brand of sultry pop/rock/soul music has racked up an impressive list of rock and pop credentials: she's been featured on ABC, CBS & NBC News, Oxygen?s ?Bad Girls Club?, ?Music Under New York,? MTV, VH1, ?Women Who Rock? magazine, Songwriter Universe Magazine, EMI/Songcircle Music, National Songwriters Hall of Fame , and she's performed at Madison Square Garden and Yankee Stadium.
