With pantomime season now in full swing, delighting audiences young and old (with many experiencing it for a magical first time), The UK Pantomime Association (UKPA)'s team of anonymous judges is busy secretly sat amongst them, ready to shortlist the very best performers, creatives and producers that the artform has to offer, for The Pantomime Awards 2024.

On Tuesday 19th April at a star-studded ceremony at the Trafalgar Theatre in London's West End, the winners of the 2022 Pantomime Awards in association with Butlin's were revealed.

Performances for ANNIE THE MUSICAL begin tonight, Tuesday April 24 at the Ed Mirvish Theatre! ANNIE is now on stage through June 3, 2018.

David Mirvish announces that due to popular demand ANNIE THE MUSICAL will add one more week of performances, extending to June 3, 2018 at the Ed Mirvish Theatre. Performances for ANNIE THE MUSICAL begin April 24 and play through June 3, 2018. This new block of tickets will go on sale Saturday March 24, 2018.

From 15 January 2018 Ruby Stokes (13-years old from Hampshire) will be joined by Isobel Khan (11 years old from Wakefield) and Agatha Meehan (10 years old from York) who will share the title role of Annie. The kids cast will also welcome Molly May Gibson (11 years old from Kent), Hannah Hutchins (13 years old from Bromley) and Amelie Green (10 years old from London) who join the three teams of young performers who play the girls in Miss Hannigan's orphanage.

Last night (30 November 2017), the West End Company of Annie officially welcomed Meera Syal who now plays the role of Miss Hannigan in the hit musical at the Piccadilly Theatre. Syal celebrated with friends and family, including Lolita Chakrabarti, Sean Foley, Nitin Ganatra, Twiggy and Leigh Lawson and Nicola Walker, as well as fellow cast members. Syal will play the role of Miss Hannigan for the duration of the run which concludes, as previously announced, on 18 February 2018 at the Piccadilly Theatre.

Today, Michael Harrison and David Ian, producers of the West End production of Annie, have officially announced that from 27 November 2017, Meera Syal will join the Company to play the role of Miss Hannigan for the duration of the run which concludes, as previously announced, on 18 February 2018 at the Piccadilly Theatre.

According to Daily Mail reporter Baz Bamigboye, actress and singer Meera Syal will be taking over the role of Miss Hannigan in the West End production of Annie. Syal is well known for her roles in Doctor Strange and Doctor Who. She was last seen in the West End in Romeo and Juliet (2016). Syal joins the cast from November 27 through February 18.

Last night (2 October 2017) the West End Company of Annie officially welcomed Craig Revel Horwood, who now plays the role of Miss Hannigan in the hit musical at the Piccadilly Theatre.

In an evening equally heartfelt and nostalgic, uncensored and hilarious, legend Patti LuPoneevoked cheers and tears from an enraptured audience on Sunday, September 24, 2017, as she shared some of her greatest hits and dished inside-theatre tales at Deconstructing Patti, An Evening of Broadway Songs and Stories with Patti LuPone and Seth Rudetsky. Today (4 August 2017) Michael Harrison and David Ian, Producers of the West End production of Annie announced that from 18 September to 26 November 2017, Craig Revel Horwood will join the West End Company to play the role of Miss Hannigan for 10 weeks. 

Miranda Hart plays Miss Hannigan with Alex Bourne as Daddy Warbucks, Holly Dale Spencer as Grace Farrell, Jonny Fines as Rooster and Djalenga Scott as Lily in the West End production of Annie at the Piccadilly Theatre. The title role of Annie is shared by Madeleine Haynes, 13-years old from Hadley Wood, Barnet, Lola Moxom, 12-years old from Rochester, Kent and Ruby Stokes, 12-years old from Hampshire.
