Cincinnati Shakespeare Company finishes its 25th Anniversary Season at The Otto M. Budig Theater with a new version of Georges Feydeau's farce by David Ives, A Flea in Her Ear. The production is directed by Cincinnati Shakespeare Company's Director of Creative Education and Outreach, Jeremy Dubin and features a 14 person cast with CSC Resident Ensemble Members Billy Chace, Kelly Mengelkoch, Sara, and Matthew Lewis Johnson. Budig Theater in Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati's home for the classics is turning to a new genre of classics: the classic musical. A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, September 7-29, 2018 with a book by Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart and music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, will be directed by CSC's Producing Artistic Director Brian Isaac Phillips and features longtime ensemble member Matthew Lewis Johnson in the principal role. The production is generously sponsored by Fifth Third Bank and Construction Process Solutions Limited.

'To be or not to be, that is the question,' says Hamlet in Shakespeare's oft-performed drama. Cincinnati Shakespeare Company chooses to 'be.' Hamlet the artificial pig sits outside the front of the theater inviting patrons into the building.

The Otto M. Budig Theater, the new custom-built home of the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company in Over-the-Rhine, opens on September 8 with A Midsummer Night's Dream. The production runs through September 30 and is directed by Producing Artistic Director Brian Isaac Phillips. The cast features longtime resident ensemble members Matthew Lewis Johnson as Bottom, Giles Davies as Oberon, Associate Artist Miranda McGee as Titania, and Associate Artistic Director Sara Clark as Puck. Cincinnati Shakespeare Company concludes its season with the premiere of the much anticipated, and now critically acclaimed, production of "One Man, Two Guvnors" by Richard Bean based on "The Servant of Two Masters" by Carlo Goldoni with songs by Grant Olding.  This show has sold out several performances so meet the increasing audience demand CSC has added performances on Saturdays June 20 and 27 at 2pm.

Cincinnati Shakespeare Company concludes its season with the premiere of the much anticipated and hilarious 'One Man, Two Guvnors' by Richard Bean based on 'The Servant of Two Masters' by Carlo Goldoni with songs by Grant Olding. 'One Man, Two Guvnors' promises to be a riotous bash of a production complete with a colorful cast of characters in a hysterical world of mistaken identities, love triangles, and live music not to be missed. This production is directed by CSC Producing Artistic Director, Brian Isaac Phillips and features a large cast of Cincinnati Shakespeare's Resident Ensemble members including Matthew Lewis Johnson, Justin McCombs and Caitlin McWethy joined on stage by a skiffle band of live musicians!
