Pipeline Theatre Company has announced full casting for the world premiere of jazz concert-party-play hybrid Playing Hot, created by Kevin Armento (Balls) and Jaki Bradley (1969: The Second Man). Playing Hot is written by Armento and C.A. Johnson (Thirst), will be directed by Bradley, and will feature musical supervision by Marcus Miller. Playing Hot will begin previews at Theater 511 (511 West 54th Street) on April 18, 2019, and officially open on May 2, playing a limited engagement through May 12, 2019. Pipeline Theatre Company will kick off of its 10th anniversary season with a one-of-a-kind benefit for the company: Pipeline's Amazing Race, taking place Sunday, October 21. Pipeline is also pleased to announce that Caileigh Scott has joined the company in the new role of managing director.

This November, Pipeline Theatre Company is partnering with the New York Public Library (NYPL) to present six never before seen plays written by Pipeline's PlayLab Class of 2017 for this year's Matchstick Series: While We Slept, performed at the Jefferson Market Library (425 6th Ave, New York, NY 10011).

Pipeline Theatre Company has announced the addition of Natalie Gershtein, Producing Director, to their leadership team. Gershtein joins Ari Schrier, who has served as the company's Artistic Director since 2012. In this newly created position, Gershtein will work collaboratively with Schrier to oversee the company's strategic and artistic growth, which includes the presentation of the New York premiere of Jason Craig and Dave Malloy's BEARDO in the 2016-2017 season.

This January, Pipeline Theatre Company presents seven never before seen plays written by its PlayLab Class of 2016 in this year's Matchstick Series: Strange Tongues at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe (236 E. 3rd St, New York, NY). This year's PlayLab includes: Matthew Barbot, Jen Browne, Gina Femia, Reina Hardy, Jacob Marx Rice, Callan Stout, and Amy E. Witting. Performances will be January 13-15th at 7PM. Early bird tickets ($15) are now on sale and regular tickets ($18) go on sale on January 1st. Tickets are available for purchase online at www.pipelinetheatre.org/tickets. The show runs approximately 75 minutes, with no intermission.  

On Friday, September 25th Pipeline Theatre Company opened their World Premiere of Andrew Farmer's haunting play THE GRAY MAN. The production, directed by Andrew Neisler (Clown Bar) will run at Walker Space (46 Walker Street between Broadway and Church Street) through October 18th.
