The Marriott Theatre, 10 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire, IL will hold 2015 Season General Auditions and La Cage aux Folles open dance calls at The Marriott Theatre Rehearsal Warehouse, 1342 Barclay Blvd, Buffalo Grove, Il. 2015 Season General Auditions for non-union actors will be held on Tuesday, September 9th from 10 am-6 pm, and Thursday, September 11 from 2 pm – 5 pm. Productions under consideration include The Wizard of Oz (TYA, Winter 2014), La Cage aux Folles, Anything Goes, City of Angels, October Sky, and the 2015 Theatre for Young Audiences season. Please bring one 16 bar song and a second contrasting selection should the Artistic Team need to hear more. Please bring music in your key and an updated H/R. The Marriott Theatre will hold auditions for La Cage aux Folles onThursday, September 11 at 10 am for AEA and non-AEA men, at The Marriott Theatre Rehearsal Warehouse, 1342 Barclay Blvd, Buffalo Grove, IL. The Marriott is seeking male dancers with strong technique and tap. Please bring jazz and tap shoes, an updated H/R or Comp Sheet, plus 16 bars up-tempo and ballad with music in your key. An accompanist will be provided. No young performers under 18. Acrobatic skills a plus. All ethnicities welcome. All roles require singing. La Cage aux Folles does not have a female dance ensemble. Please note: all male dancers will be required to portray women, which may include wearing and dancing in women's clothing, high heels, wigs, and make-up.
