Mysterium Theater is excited to hold auditions for Robin Hood !
Looking for 12 to 14 strong lead and supporting actors (actors will be playing multiple roles) ages 10+ , all ethnicities !
Synopsis:
Upon returning from the chaos of the Crusades, Robin and his Merry Men discover England is in its own form of chaos thanks to the injustice and cruelty of Prince John and his lackeys, Sir Guy and the Sheriff of Nottingham. They set about trying to ease some of the struggles of the less fortunate in the kingdom and soon are embroiled in a battle of wits and blades to defeat Prince John, return King Richard to his rightful throne, and of course rescue the Lady Marian. Unfortunately, things don't always go as planned and the ladies end up rescuing them. Together they help King Richard reclaim his throne and bring peace and love to the kingdom again.

The Merry Men
Robin Hood: heroic scoundrel (male)/our hero and gets along with everyone, falls for Marian
Little John: brute squad (male)/best friend of Robin and always together, falls for Anne
Will Scarlet: suave womanizer (male)/a scout and fighter for Robin, falls for Elizabeth
Alana Dale: headstrong minstrel (female)/story teller who breaks the fourth wall, friends with Tuck
Friar Tuck: gluttoness priest (male)/able to get to place only a friar can, friends with Alana
King Richard/Leon: in disguise (male)/silent most of the time, identity known by Robin
The Ladies
Marian: ingenious lady of the court (female)/spoiled until being captured by Robin, falls for Robin
Nurse: flirtatious care giver (female)/always wanting Marian to live a little
Anne: mischievous wanderer (female)/looking for any ways to get into trouble, falls for Little John
Elizabeth: stubborn protector (female)/not very adventurous erring on the side of safety, falls for Will
The Villains
Prince John: usurper of the crown (male) cruel and spoiled prince caring only for himself
Sheriff of Nottingham: constantly hunting Robin Hood (male) needs to be revenged on Robin
Tracey: Sheriff's lackey (male/female)/very skittish and just trying to keep his/her job
Guy of Gisbourne: arrogant suitor of Marian (male)/amazing swordsman looking to win Marian
The Townspeople
Margaret: gossipy innkeeper (female) knows everything about everyone, provides safety for Merry Men
Alice: flighty postmaster and messenger (female) sends messages for Merry Men and Maids
