Bergen County Players is holding
open auditions for Pinocchio, the classic fairy tale.
When:
Auditions will be held Wednesday, September 9 at 7:30 pm.
Additional dates may become available.
Where:
Little Firehouse Theatre, 298 Kinderkamack Road, Oradell, NJ
Production Dates:
November 28 - December 20
Roles:
Everyone sings and moves, most roles are gender variable.
Pinocchio - a puppet who becomes a real boy. Must be strong dancer.
Juvenile or small adult (M/F).
Geppetto - puppet maker, older, loves children (M).
Antonio - narrator, older, warm, audience interactive (M/F).
Candlewick & Gino - street urchins,young (M/F).
Angelina - Geppetto’s housekeeper, older (F).
Blue fairy - (soprano) beautiful, maternal (F).
Coachman - evil man who lures kids to their doom (M).
Signore Volpone & Signore Gatto - con artists, fox-like & cat-like (M/F).
Balloon seller, Organ grinder, Pizza maker - local vendors, featured chorus (M/F).
Chorus of townspeople and urchins (M/F).
