Auditions for On Golden Pond Tuesday and Wednesday July 17 & 18.
Krista Schwarting, ACT's director for On Golden Pond, will be holding auditions for the play on Tuesday and Wednesday July 17 and 18 at 6:00 pm at Anchorage Community Theatre. No preparation of material is necessary. You will be asked to read from the script of the play to be auditioned for, in dialogue with others. Please contact

An award winning play that is as touching, warm, and witty today as when it debuted on Broadway in 1979. A retired couple, Ethel and Norman Thayer, spend every summer at their home on Golden Pond. This year, their adult daughter visits, bringing along her 13-year-old son. The turbulent relationship between father and daughter, the generation gap between young and old, and the difficulties facing a couple in the twilight years of a long marriage, all combine to give this play a wonderful perspective on family and on life.
Roles for an older man and woman, their middle aged daughter and her boyfriend, a postman who grew up with the daughter, and a 13 year old boy.
