Type of Project: PSA in support of Higher EducationProduct: “Heads Up” Proposal

Shoots: Thursday or Friday, August 20th or 21st

Usage: Worldwide Internet. Broadcast if Civic Nation a non-profit can raise the funds to go broadcast.

Audition: Send video no later than 5:00 PM, Wednesday, August 12 or

Audition at our studios on Thursday, August 13th

Salary: Pro Bono (volunteering 2 to 3 hour of your time)

We are one of many companies in our industry partnering with President Obama and the White House to film a PSA in support of higher education in America. This movement provides two free years of community college to anyone who wants it (

And in order to get the word out, we’re hoping to get volunteers who support this proposal by giving two hours of their time to appear in the PSA, alongside celebrities who are deeply invested in the cause, including community college grads Tom Hanks and Kevin Hart, for example.

We’re filming one day in NYC on August 20th or 21st (depending on celebrity availabilities) and the campaign is called “Heads Up”. Who we are looking for…

Men and women anywhere from 16 to 60 years old of all ethnicities. People who see this as an opportunity to invest in key education for themselves and other Americans to have the training to meet the demands of a growing global economy. To build a skilled educated work force. For example we would like to see you if…

* You are planning on going to community college.

* You are an educator who believes in community colleges.

* You want to get higher education but are held back by the costs.

* You are a skilled professional who learned your skills by attending a community

college.

* You are currently enrolled at a community college.

* You graduated from a 4-year degree program and are still paying back your student loans.

* You are having a career change, need to learn new skills and are

contemplating going back to college.

* You are a parent who put your education on hold to raise a family and now wants to rejoin the work force and needs to re-up their education.

There are 2 ways you can audition to be considered for these spots.

1. You can submit yourself by sending a picture of yourself and your contact info to
info@starknaked productions.com and we will contact you with an appointment time for the auditions on Thursday, 8/13. We only want to see people who can be available for either of the shoot days and who fit the criteria.

2. You can submit your own audition video before the deadline above and we’ll contact you if you are selected. Your video should not be more than 2 minutes long. We only want to see people who can be available for either of the shoot days and who fit the criteria. Make sure to provide your name, contact number and/or email with your video. In 3 to 4 sentences give us your views on this proposal. Send your videos to:
