THE PLOT: She was one of Broadway’s biggest stars even though she couldn’t sing, she couldn’t dance, and she couldn’t act. She was Gypsy Rose Lee and she became an American legend peeling her clothes off like a lady. GYPSY is one of Broadway’s most beloved musicals. It is the story of a backstage mother and the two daughters she insists will become stars. Beginning with the girls as children and following on to Louise’s amazing success on Broadway, GYPSY is bursting with Jule Styne music and Stephen Sondheim lyrics like “Everything’s Coming Up Roses,” “Together,” “You Gotta Have a Gimmick,” and “Let Me Entertain You.” This vibrant trip through vaudeville into burlesque and on to the Great White Way will have you singing “everything’s coming up roses” as you leave the theatre. (Adults and teens)

Auditions are open to the public and newcomers are welcome. Those auditioning will be asked to sing, dance and read selections from the script. Also bring your calendar and be prepared to communicate any scheduling conflicts. Please contact the office Monday through Friday from 9am-1pm at
