BUSCH GARDENS ENTERTAINMENT with the support of BOB CLINE CASTING is happy to announce auditions for the 2014 Christmas Season for Busch Gardens Williamsburg. The award-winning Busch Gardens takes great pride and care in the direction the Entertainment department is headed. The new shows, with more to come, have the spirit of mini Broadway musicals and the show stopping energy of shows you may see in Vegas. Some of the Creatives for our new shows include Lisa Shriver, Christopher D’Amboise,Matt West, Karma Camp, Jeff Whiting, Ken Billington and Toni-Leslie James, to name a few.
We are seeking a few triple threats, but mostly strong Singer/Actors and strong Dancer/Actors. Rehearsals for shows begin early November and open Nov. 21st. Shows final performance is on Dec. 31st. Shows perform up to 6 times a day. All roles are paid.
Please prepare a song selection that shows off your voice and range. Contemporary Broadway or pop is best for us. Singers should be prepared to come back for a movement call later in the day. Bring sheet music. No CD accompaniment please. Pianist provided. Dancers should bring both characters and flats, and tap shoes if you tap. For the dance call Dancers should still bring a song selection Please bring your audition book, in case you are asked to sing another type of song selection. Bring picture & resume. Non-Equity performers only.

“MIRACLES”: A passionate production that fuses classical ballet and contemporary styles through powerful music and dance. Accompanied by live vocalists, this ensemble of dancers will inspire guests to believe that anything is possible.
[FEMALE PRINCIPAL SINGER] Female. 30’s. The inspirational leading player who weaves story through song and piano musicianship. Exceptional singing voice and stage presence is required. MUST play Piano. Vocal Range: Soprano. Top note Gb.
[FEMALE ENSEMBLE SINGER] Female. 20’s to 30’s. Excellent singing voice. Vocal Range: Mezzo Soprano.
[FEMALE ENSEMBLE SINGER] Female. 20’s to 30’s. Excellent singing voice. Vocal Range: Alto

[MALE PRINCIPAL DANCER] Male. 20’s to early 30’s. Seeking a very dynamic, unique dancer - must have strong ballet and contemporary style and technique. Ballet partnering and lift experience a must. 5’8” or taller. Males should bring Jazz shoes.
[FEMALE PRINCIPAL DANCER] Female. 20’s to early 30’s. Seeking a smart, attractive, very dynamic dancer - must have strong ballet and contemporary style and technique. Outstanding pointe work. Partnering skills and lift experience a must. 5’6” or taller. Females should bring flats and pointe shoes.
[MALE ENSEMBLE DANCERS] Male. 20’s to early 30’s. Very dynamic, unique dancers - must have strong ballet and contemporary style and technique. Partnering skills and lift experience a must. 5’8” or taller. Males should bring Jazz shoes.

[RACHEL] Female.. Shepherdess. Styles range from Broadway to Gospel/Soul. Vocal Ranges: Alto/ Mezzo Soprano. Top Note Bb belt.
[AMOS] Male. A shepherd. Styles range from Broadway to Gospel/Soul. Vocal Range: Tenors with strong belts and great falsetto. Strong vocal and acting ability.
SCROOGE NO MORE!: Join Scrooge live on stage in an all new musical at the Globe Theatre as he is swept away by the ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future, who teach him the importance of family and friends being together at Christmas.
[EBENEZER SCROOGE] an old man whose great wealth has turned his heart to stone. Deaf to the needs of his fellow men, SCROOGE must journey through his past to regain the spirit of charity and kindness he had as a young man. Bari- Tenor to G.
[GHOST OF CHRISTMAS PAST] female, a young, twinkly, spritely apparition, full of the Christmas spirit. Aerial skills needed. Soprano Belt/Mix to E

[JACOB MARLEY] The ghost of Scrooge's former partner. Warns SCROOGE of the consequences of living the life of a miser. Doubles in ensemble roles. D3 - Ab4 Baritenor
