Assassins will be performed at Town and Country Players Theater, 4158 York Road, Buckingham, PA 18912.

Rehearsals will begin May 5th and are expected to be 3 to 4 times per week, tentatively Sun/Tues/Wed/Thurs. A tentative Rehearsal Schedule will be given out at the auditions and is subject to availability depending on casting.
Conflicts need to be disclosed at the auditions.

Vocal Auditions:
Please prepare a (1) minute song from a Sondheim show but not Assassins. Please bring sheet music as an accompanist will be present. No a cappella or tape recordings may be used.

Audition Process:
Anyone auditioning should be familiar with the music and content of the show, specifically the music for the role that you are auditioning for. As part of the audition process, you will also be asked to perform a short selection(s) from the song list from the show that will be selected by the director and music director at the time of the audition

Walk-ins are welcome however, a scheduled audition is appreciated.

SYNOPSIS
Assassins lays bare the lives of nine individuals who assassinated or tried to assassinate the President of the United States, in a one-act historical revusical that explores the dark side of the American experience. From John Wilkes Booth to Lee Harvey Oswald, writers, Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman, bend the rules of time and space, taking us on a nightmarish roller coaster ride in which assassins and would-be assassins from different historical periods meet, interact and inspire each other to harrowing acts in the name of the American Dream.

(1838-1865) Assassinated President Abraham Lincoln during a performance at Ford's Theater in Washington D.C. on April 14, 1865. Foreman and inspirational celebrity to the other assassins.
