AUDITIONS & STAGE MANAGER CALL ANNOUNCED FOR ARTISTS’ EXCHANGE’S

14TH ANNUAL PRODUCTION OF A CHRISTMAS CAROL IN CRANSTON!

Be part of the magic of A Christmas Carol at Artists’ Exchange for its 14th annual production. Production runs December 7-23, 2017 in the intimate Theatre 82 in Cranston (82 Rolfe Square). Auditions are announced…

Seeking Actors & Singers: Adults, seniors, teenagers, and children (ages 10 & up) of all abilities. Experience working with actors of all ages and acting backgrounds in a collaborative, ensemble setting is ideal. Intimate cast size (6-8 kids, 10-12 adults). Volunteer position. Double casting possible.

Bring & Prepare: Resume & Headshot (or current photo). Perform a one-minute monologue from any adaptation of A Christmas Carol and 16 bars of a Christmas song, sung a cappella. No piano accompaniment.

Reserve Audition Slot: Slots are 10 minutes. Email jessica.chace@artists-exchange.org with your first and second slot preferences, indicating the dates and times. You will receive confirmation of your scheduled slot.

Also Seeking a Stage Manager (stipend position): We need an enthusiastic, experienced stage manager for the rehearsal period and performance run. It’s possible to have multiple stage managers for rehearsals and productions. More position details are online at www.artists-exchange.org. About A Christmas Carol 2017 production: A holiday tradition and the most anticipated show of Artists’ Exchange, this year’s production is a fresh, original adaptation with a focus on family and accepting people for who they are despite their faults. Based on Charles Dickens’ classic novel, it will examine Ebenezer Scrooge’s childhood from a new and deeper lens, including his relationship with Freddie. Five-week rehearsal period from October 30-November 30 with tech week December 1-6; show runs December 7-23, 2017 at Theatre 82 in Cranston. Directed by Jessica Chace and Musical Direction by Tom Chace.
