As part of our communitys contribution to the Maine Bicentennial, The Watts Hall Players have chosen a brand new, full length musical, Count Me In, for our summer theater presentation. The dates are June 26, 27, 28 and July 2, 3. Count Me In recounts the story of General Henry Knox and his wife Lucy and their many contributions to our early American history and to Maine. It was written by a Thomaston resident and her talented teenage granddaughter. Logan George is the 16-year-old composer of the 10 amazing, original songs, and Sean Fleming from Damariscotta has written most of the marvelous arrangements. Count Me In is much more than a history lesson, and its message, catchy melodies, and lyrics should resonate well with our modern audience. Auditions for this large, multi-generational cast will begin mid-April. Rehearsals start early May. For more information about the production, contact Daryl Hahn, Producer, 207 354 6796 or darylhahn@gmail.com.
