Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, is based on the infamous tale of an unjustly exiled barber in nineteenth century London. Seeking vengeance against the lecherous judge who framed him, the road to revenge leads the title character to Mrs. Lovett, a rather "resourceful" proprietress of a failing pie shop. Suddenly, Mrs. Lovett's luck shifts as Todd's thirst for blood inspires a rather unique twist on her meat pies that has the people of London lining up. Directed by Nathan Brewer, with music direction by Steven Altinel and choreography by Megan Gerlach.
