Kansas City Repertory Theatre and the world premiere production of A Little More Alive, a new musical by Nick Blaemire, announce an exciting opportunity for fans of Blaemire and his work. The "A Little More Alive Road Trip Contest" is a chance for four lucky North American fans to attend the official April 18, 2014 opening night performance and festivities of A Little More Alive at Kansas City Rep in Kansas City, MO. Winners will receive free travel and accommodations, and a private Meet and Greet with the show's cast and creative team.

Each day from March 28 to April 10, 2014 A Little More Alive will use a social media channel (either Facebook, Twitter or Instagram) to issue fans an online road trip challenge which, if completed by midnight that same day, will qualify the lucky follower to enter that day's drawing. Each day one qualified follower will be randomly selected and announced as a semi-finalist. On April 11, four winners will be randomly drawn from the semi-finalists and will travel to Kansas City for opening night, while documenting their road trip via social media.

Multiple social media channels will be used for the "A Little More Alive Road Trip Contest," using hashtag #ALMAroadtrip.All entries must contain #ALMAroadtrip to be eligible. Daily clues will be released through A Little More Alive's social channels (Twitter @littlemorealive; Facebook www.facebook.com/alittlemorealive; Instagram @littlemorealive) with additional clues and hints on KC Rep's social pages (Facebook at www.facebook.com/kcrep, Twitter @KCRep, and Instagram@kcreptheatre). Clues will appear in different channels on different days.

A Little More Alive will also be posting frequent video and music from the cast and creative team on Twitter @littlemorealive, and on Facebook at www.facebook.com/alittlemorealive.

A Little More Alive is a captivating new pop musical in which two estranged brothers reunite at their mother's funeral. An unexpected discovery upends every memory they have - and it becomes their mission to learn the truth about their family; but, along the way, Nate and Jeremy find that no one is exempt from the gray area between right and wrong.

Staring in the musical are: Van Hughes (American Idiot) as Nate Fuller; Michael Tacconi (Bare) as Jeremy Fuller; Lindsay Mendez (Dogfight) as Lizzie; Daniel Jenkins (Angels in America) as Gene Fuller; and Kayla Foster (Spring Awakening) as Molly. Tony Award-nominee Sheryl Kaller (Next Fall, Mothers and Sons) directs.

Kansas City Rep is producing A Little More Alive through special arrangement with Hunter Arnold and TBD Theatricals. Under the artistic direction of Eric Rosen, the Rep is emerging as an important center for the creation of new work of national significance. The Rep's original work and collaborations have been seen across the country, with 22 production transfers in the last five years, including Broadway and Off-Broadway runs for Venice (Public Theater), Clay (Lincoln Center/LCT3), A Christmas Story, The Musical!
