Betty Haynes:
Late 20s, Mezzo-Soprano with jazzy sound. This is the Rosemary Clooney role from the film. Betty is a strong-willed woman who carefully guards her heart. She’s a singer on the brink of stardom. Glamorous look, great voice, strong actress who also dances. Should be 5’4”-5’7”.
Judy Haynes:
Early to mid-20s, major dancer with a good Mezzo voice. This is the Vera-Ellen role from the film. Judy is Betty’s fun-loving younger sister. A natural flirt and a girl who is not afraid to take chances if that helps her get what she wants. Beautiful and vivacious – must be a great tapper. Should be 5’4”-5’7”.
