Breakdown
Henry Pulling, a mild-mannered retired banker, leads a quiet life and never strays too far from his Southwood, England home. But when his eccentric and outrageous Aunt Augusta suddenly appears in his life with mysterious information about his past, Henry is drawn into a series of exotic international adventures.
NOTE: All actors play the central character of Henry Pulling as well as multiple characters should be adept at playing multiple roles truthfully. Proficiency with British dialect a must.
SEEKING:
ACTOR H (Male 40s – 60s) oldest of the three, most grounded but able to have a good time; plays Henry and Aunt Augusta
ACTOR T (Male 40s – 60s) younger of the three and perhaps the more effeminate of the group; plays Henry, Vicar, Tooley, O’Toole, Miss Keane, Frau General Schmidt, Italian Girl, Yolanda, Richard Pulling, Uncle Jo, Sgt Sparrow’s Colleague
ACTOR V (Male 40s – 60s) most masculine of the three; plays Henry, Wordsworth, Mr. Visconti, Col. Hakim, Miss Paterson, Hatty, Det Sgt. Sparrow, Spanish Gentleman, Taxi Driver
ACTOR G (Male 20s - 30s) A younger version of Actors 1 – 3, but with more optimism and pep – a sign of what could have been if he travelled a different path. Actor who plays musical instrument(s) (guitar, ukulele, etc) preferred; plays Henry, Wolf, Girl in Jodhpurs. Hotel receptionist, Bodyguard, Policeman, also may do Foley.
