TOMMY (m, MID 20s) - Recovering heroin addict. Quiet, emotionally guarded, aimless. Not sure who is he or who he wants to be. Wants a better life but has no idea how to get it. Most of his days are spent trying not to use.
MICHELLE (F, 40S) - Brash, passionate, abrasive, funny. Devoted mother. Co-owns a small business with her mother. Has never lived off Cape.
FRAN (F, 60S) - Tough as nails lifelong Cape Codder. Mom to Michelle, grandmother of Tommy, store owner, fudge-maker extraordinaire. Does not mince words. Judgmental. Good heart.
LAUREN (F, 20S) - Local girl done good home for the summer. Attending Boston College. Wants a bigger life off Cape. Smart, impulsive, very close to her parents.
KIERAN (M, 20S) - Hometown kid, completely fine with his townie life. Good hearted, gregarious, funny and sensitive. He's your 2 am phone call from jail, should you need such a thing.
ANITA (F, 40S) - Emergency room physician. Smart, sexy, educated, poised. Transplant to the Cape for work, originally lived in Baltimore. African American.

PATTY COOPER (F, Same age as Bari) Loud and controlling and good hearted. Has never left her hometown of East Cooperville.
LUANNE COOPER (F, 20) Patty’s niece. Very simple and sweet.
MIKE COOPER (M, 40 – 60) Patty’s cousin. Mike makes beautiful art out of garbage – that’s who he is. He has a crow.
