SEEKING

Male and female vocalists, and female actors who are local to the Central Florida area for part time positions for the Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show performed live at the Walt Disney World® Resort near Orlando, FL.


PREPARATION

Please provide a current headshot and resume. Vocalists: Please prepare 16 bars of a musical theatre selection, and provide sheet music in the correct key for the accompanist. Female Actors: a side will be provided at the audition.

Performers are under seasonal contracts between November and December 2016. Potential relocation and housing may be available. Callbacks: 8/2/16 in Orlando. Performers invited to callbacks must attend in order to qualify for potential employment.

An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition.

BREAKDOWN

The Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show is a musical theatre style interpretation of a classic Hawaiian Luau. The show combines traditional Polynesian dance with contemporary music while celebrating the meaning of ‘ohana’ and the spirit of aloha. We are especially seeking performers with a diverse look.

Kimo: Leading man pop tenor to G# who moves well. Strong athletic build a plus. Familiarization with Polynesian dance is a plus.

Howie: Male comedic pop tenor to G# who moves well. Strong comedic actor with medium build. Familiarization with Polynesian dance is a plus.

Auntie Wini: Mature female character actress who sings, with good comedic timing and moves well. Familiarization with Polynesian dance is a plus.

Scout: Female, strong comedic actor who moves well. Familiarization with Polynesian dance is required.

Leilani: Female, slender comedic actor with strong movement ability. Familiarization with Polynesian dance is required.
