Breakdown
Seeking submissions for future replacements of production stage managers for a touring theatre company for young audiences. Performances are day tours from a central location in Verona, NJ to venues in the tri-state;some out-of-town over-night performances. Production stage manager responsibilities for rehearsals and touring.
Season is year-round (most performances between October and May) with limitted summer (July-August) performances
Candidate should possess: a proficiency in touring sound equipment (body microphones, recorded sound track playback for performance); an understanding of lighting systems (both Pushcart's touring equipment and in-house systems at visited venues); the ability to load-in, set-up and unload these lighting/sound systems as well as light scenic elements; exceptional organizational skills; communication skills to appropriately represent Pushcart and serve as point-person at each venue; daytime availability.
