Male, 20s – 40s, any ethnicity. Excellent pop/rock singers. Must be versatile with styles and be able to sing tight harmony. Strong movement ability. Possible principal understudy assignments. ENSEMBLE

PREPARATION

Prepare to sing 16 bars of a pop/rock song showing range. No musical theatre, please. Bring sheet music for the piano accompanist. Bring a photo/resume stapled together.

Male, 20s, any ethnicity. The grandson of Mr. Morse, he is eager, creative, and smart. He has come up with a daring plan to save his grandfather's company by retooling it to build cruise ships for the Hawaiian Islands. Excellent pop/rock singer. Tenor. Must be versatile with styles and be able to sing tight harmony. Possible principal understudy assignments. Strong movement ability. ENSEMBLE

[SENATOR KAHALA]
Male, 40s – 50s. A charming U.S. Senator from Hawaii. He was born to a poor farming family on the Big Island, and thanks to brains and personality rose to chairman of the powerful Senate Transportation Committee. He’s up for reelection and understands that politics requires a little mutual backscratching, particularly with rich campaign contributors like Edward Lewis. Excellent pop/rock singer. Tenor. Must be versatile with styles and be able to sing tight harmony. Strong movement ability. ENSEMBLE

[MR. HOLLISTER]
Male, 30s – 50s, any ethnicity. A Beverly Hills high-end clothing store manager he understands that sucking up to rich patrons is a big part of his job. He will say or do anything to make a sale. Strong pop/rock singer. Tenor. Must be versatile with styles and be able to sing tight harmony. Strong movement ability. Possible principal understudy assignments. ENSEMBLE
