MAMMA MIA

Seeking:

SKY (late 20s) Sophie’s fiance. Athletic, attractive – has given up his life as a successful young businessman in order to make over Donna’s taverna and marry Sophie. Featured Ensemble role. Tenor, Baritone

Male/Female ensemble: (20-35): strong singer/dancers

_________

NEWSIES

Seeking:

JACK:
Male, 17 – 25 years old. Handsome, passionate and charismatic leader of the Newsies. A street-smart kid with a dark artistic soul right beneath the bluster. Not a blowhard. This kid’s the real thing. Must have a great pop tenor voice. LEAD. MOVER

DAVEY:
Male, 16 - 26 years old. A thinker. Raised in a home as opposed to the other Newsies, Davie is the book-smart counterpoint to the other boys. The voice of reason. A nice Jewish boy. Must have a great contemporary tenor voice. PRINCIPAL. DANCER

CRUTCHIE:
Male, 17-22 years old. A slight, sickly boy with a huge heart. He walks with the aid of a crutch due to a bad leg, but that doesn’t hold him back from being right in the middle of any mischief. A real charmer. TENOR. MOVER. SUPPORTING.

SPOT CONLON:
Male, 18-30. The leader of the Brooklyn newsies. Spot is cocky and proud. SUPPORTING. TENOR. DANCER

LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS

Seeking:

SEYMOUR
(late 20s) Our insecure, nai?ve, put-upon, florists’ clerk hero. Above all, he’s a sweet and well-meaning little man. He is not a silly nerd, and therefore, should not be played as the hero of a Jerry Lewis film. Strong acting and singing.

CRYSTAL, RONNETTE and CHIFFON
(20s-30’s) Any ethnicity. Three female ‘street urchins’ who function as participants in the action (when they have dialogue) and a Greek Chorus commenting and narrating the action (when they sing together in close harmony). They’re young, hip, smart, and the only people in the whole cast who really know what’s going on . Strong harmony singers with good movement skills to perform tightly drilled choreographed movement.

____________

GODSPELL
Seeking:

JESUS:
Male. Lead. Tenor. Mover. The enigmatic, story telling leader of the group

JOHN THE BAPTIST / JUDAS:
Male. Lead. Baritone. Mover. As John the Baptist, heralds the coming of the Lord and rallies the troupe to be baptized.
