Prepare one-minute monologue from an August Wilson play and bring in your favorite poem to read.
Bring picture and resume, stapled together.

Seeking:
Becker:
Male, 60s. Well-respected man who runs the jitney station.
Turnbo:
Male, 40s-50s. Jitney driver who is always interested in the business of others.
Youngblood:
Male, mid-to-late 20s. Jitney driver and Vietnam veteran.
Fielding:
Male, 30s-40s. Jitney driver and former tailor, has a dependency on alcohol.
Doub:
Male, 40s. Longtime jitney driver and a Korean War veteran.
Shealy:
Male, 40s. Numbers taker who often uses the jitney station as his base.
Booster:
Male, early 40s. Becker’s son; recently released from prison.
Rena:
Female, early-to-mid 20s. Youngblood’s girlfriend and mother of their young son.
Philmore:
30s-40s. Local hotel doorman, a reoccurring jitney passenger.
Take the R to 9th St. or the F to 4th Ave. in Brooklyn. The R can be accessed at the Pacific/Atlantic station in Brooklyn which is served by the 2,3,4,5,N,B,D and Q trains from Manhattan.
