Breakdown

Amidst the bustle of a crowded London train station, GEORGIE, a woman in her 40s, spots ALEX, a much older man, and plants a kiss on his neck. This electric encounter thrusts these two strangers into a fascinating and life-changing game. HEISENBERG brings to blazing, theatrical life the uncertain and often comical sparring match that is human connection.

ONE ACTRESS TO UNDERSTUDY GEORGIE BURNS:
[CAST – MARY-LOUISE PARKER] A loud American ex-patriot in her 40s. Equal parts aggressive and whimsical. Endlessly mysterious and unafraid to speak her mind. Impulsive. Charming. Loves life. She is quirky and ultimately moving.

ONE ACTOR TO UNDERSTUDY ALEX PRIEST:
[CAST - DENIS ARNDT] A quiet Irish-born butcher in his mid-70s. A simple man of habit winding down a colorless life. Initially resistant to connection, but beguilingly sharpened once his shell is cracked. Quick-witted, masculine, appealing. Smitten by GEORGIE. Recognizes the value of taking a chance.
