SYNOPSIS: Watch, if you dareth, as love and hunger collide most fantastically with the elusive American dream. In hearty games of D&D, young Bart and Holly escape the dreary reality of hauling money all day in armored transport vehicles. When jobs are lost and the boss starts looking at Holly funny, escape becomes reality, releasing Goldor & Mythyka upon the world! Until… reality regenerates with a vengeance.
Seeking:
Gerri aka Sarah:
40s, F; faded elegance. She seems a little white trashy and daffy but as the play unfolds, she transforms into something else. She is more loving and desirous of love than she lets on, and more clever.
Nathan aka Captain:
30s-40s, M; loud alpha male. His anger toward just about everything is fueled by his self-hatred as he is a former golden boy who peake in high school. Wants to be a better man.
Fed/Mr. Larry Neal:
30s-40s, M; Fed is urgent, all business. He just wants to solve this case. Mr. Neal is a desperate, lonely man who longs to be adored and respected.
Boy:
16, adorable, funny, spastic, full of longing, imagination, hope and promise.
The following roles have been CAST. Actors may be considered for possible replacements if needed.
DJ: M or F; the omnipotent meta-narrator of the play. His job is to keep the story spinning -- his existence depends on it. Sexy, impish, hip, playful, charming, naughty (role is cast).
Bart aka Goldor:
20s, M; transforms from forgettable, secretive, "nice" guy, to a formidable, charismatic warrior and leader (role is cast).
Holly aka Mythyka:
20s, F; pretty in a plain way, guys want to take care of her. Transforms from forgettable and shy to formidable and alive. More powerful than she lets on (role is cast).
